Job Placement Services

To make sure that people with disabilities have the greatest possible opportunity for independence, the Holmes County Board of MR/DD has established a Job Placement Program. There are many employment possibilities for the disabled in Holmes County.

Through this program people are matched with jobs and are provided the necessary training at the job site to ensure success. There are also a number of incentives to employers to give people with disabilities a chance.

Lynn Hope Industries, Inc.

Lynn Hope Industries, Inc. is certified by the U.S. Department of Labor as a sheltered workshop. Lynn Hope provides a variety of work services for Holmes County residents who are disabled. Lynn Hope contracts with area industries to provide packaging, assembly, and manufacturing services within its facilities at the Holmes County Training Center.

As part of the adult program at the Holmes County Training Center, Lynn Hope Industries, Inc. offers programs of work skills training when appropriate, to supported employment or job placement.

Lynn Hope Industries, Inc. is a non-profit corporation managed by a Board of Trustees. The Board consists of volunteers with backgrounds in business that is concerned about people with disabilities.
